La Paolina, founded during the 16th century, has been a farm for over 400 years with more than 20 hectares of cultivation until 1970, when a family of Anglo-Iberian origins who fell in love with Tuscany decided to buy the farm and renew it. Today La Paolina is a farm dedicated to various crops, such as wheat, barley, sunflower and corn. The most important crop is extra virgin olive oil, with 3 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of indigenous plants. A recent renovation has maintained the Tuscan style of the farm in compliance with the constraints imposed by the Superintendence of historical and artistic heritage, to which the area is bound.
The exquisite local cuisine and the hospitality of the locals will give you a truly wonderful experience, which have inspired the owners to change their lives and dedicate themselves to food and wine and hospitality. The farm today has a small family-run restaurant which offers, with slight reinterpretations, traditional local dishes that enhance local products and excellent Tuscan wines.
