La Torre (the Tower), set in the walls of the Torrita di Siena historic center, is the northernmost tower in the characteristic borgo of Siena province, a lookout structure over the entire Valdichiana during the Middle Ages.
The access floor consists of a large vaulted living room and a modern fully-equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are a bathroom and four beds. On the terrace, you can admire the landscape of Valdichiana and its mild and fascinating hills.
The underground room of the old structure has been transformed into a basement where you can admire the foundations and the original walls of the structure. In the cellar there are now a selection of fine Tuscan wines and craft beers produced in this area.
Quickly reachable from Porta Gavina, one of the four medieval gates of the historic center together with Porta a Sole, Porta Nova and Porta a Pago. The structure is located a few meters away from Porta Gavina, turning right after it.
