The Capanne di Sopra Farmhouse is located in Montefollonico, the jewel village fraction of Torrita di Siena 7 km from Montepulciano. It is located in a solitary and panoramic position, with a wide view of the landscape of the Valdichiana Senese, the temple of San Biagio and up to the summit of Monte Amiata and the hills of the Val d'Orcia. The farmhouse consists of two farmhouses: Casa Mulinello and Casa Banditello.

Country house Mulinello

The farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 terraces, with a total of six beds, in ca. 90 sqm. It is the result of adaptations made over time on a 17th century turret. Restored in 1990, according to the Tuscan tradition, and furnished with family furniture. Immersed in a hilly landscape, with a beautiful view on the profile of Montepulciano, the house is on two levels. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with fireplace forms the center of the house. From here you have access to the three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, another with 2 single beds and the third with 2 single beds and adjacent shower. The single beds can be joined. The other bathroom has a tub.

A wooden staircase leads up to the mezzanine where there is a large kitchen / dining room with a fireplace for grilling. From here you go out onto a small terrace with iron table and chairs. A terrace, also with iron table and chairs, shaded by two old oaks, overlooks the valley. The house, furnished with our vintage furniture, is fully equipped for 6 people. Drinking water from the public service, instant hot water, central heating, cot and high chair. Barbecue is possible in the kitchen. Stereo device and books. WIFI.

Banditello country house

The farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 130 square meters, on two floors, sleeps 6, construction from the early 1900s, restored in 1997 according to the Tuscan tradition and furnished with the owner's family furniture. The ground floor has of three rooms plus a small toilet. There is a large kitchen with gas machine and oven, fireplace-barbecue, fridge and a dishwasher; the glass door leads directly to the yard where there is a furnished space to relax outdoor. The other two rooms, both visible and close, are furnished with custom-made sofas and armchairs and the owners' furniture and paintings, one of them has a beautiful stone fireplace and both of them are opened onto the courtyard side.

A stone staircase leads to the first floor with three bedrooms and a dressing room. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and bathroom with tub. Fascinating view of Montepulciano.

The other two each have 2 single beds, which can also be joined together, and share a bathroom with shower.

The furniture renews the tradition of the Tuscan countryside: iron beds, built-in wardrobes in the walls. The house is airy and illuminated at any time of the day. Fully equipped for six people, both for the kitchen and the bedrooms and bathrooms. Is possible to have a barbecue in the kitchen.
